He holds a B.A in Political Science from St. Francis College New York; United States; an LLB from the City Law School, City University, London, United Kingdom; a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional and Legal Skills from the Inns of Court School of Law, City Law School, London, United Kingdom; a Master's degree in Sports Law (with distinction) from the Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, United Kingdom. He is also a Member of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn, England; a Member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago; a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) since 2010, having worked in the capacity of Lead Adjudicator for the dispute resolution branch of the CIArb in London
